One thing I have found is this file cleaning is only the last step to solving the app id contamination issue. You need to first see what items are in the files/xrefs, then you know where the app ids are coming from. Then you clean them, or just the dirty ones. So some interface to show file props before the cleaning is necessary IMO. Also, I don't let my tool clean files open in current editor, when you hit the app id issue, like 50k or more, it hangs forever while dbx style cleans in seconds. thx Oh, I totally missed that and then saw right after commenting but could not edit my reply :) I'm, going to try this plugin. I'm the author of the File Batcher which is known as PurgeIDs.
